Come see the work God is doing in beautiful Kenya! Our primary focus will be to encourage field workers sent from our church as we participate in their daily routines such as drinking chai with locals, visiting Kenyan homes and spending time in prayer and worship with other believers around a fire. As you hear and see the work God is doing in and through others, you will gain better insight into how local churches are engaged in their community, how the gospel is being communicated and demonstrated through various outreach programs and see how the Lord is using a variety of backgrounds, vocations and skill sets for the advancement of His Kingdom. Going on this short term trip will lead to long term development-in God’s kingdom and in our hearts. Going there will forever change the way you live here.

The purpose of this trip is to assist the field team with increasing proclamation and increasing prayer in neighborhoods throughout their city. Within the city of 3 million people, almost all have never heard the Good News and have no idea who Jesus truly is. The team will go out into English speaking areas of the city and engage in prayer walking, gospel conversations, and make connections to help the local team map out different parts of the city that will be used to increase prayer.

This team will be partnering with a local church to help them reach their community and implement their new discipleship strategy. We will explore the city as we prayer walk, and will use team members' specific gifts to help strengthen and encourage the local body of believers. *Dates are just an estimate at this time. This trip will involve activities at a local high school and in the community. Most of the work will be sports oriented, but the emphasis will be on engaging with people to share the gospel. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement for this trip.

City Project is a two-month, intensive discipleship and missional experience where college students serve locally, nationally, and internationally. City Project includes five weeks in Wake Forest, one week with one of our American church plants, and two weeks overseas. Students learn how to apply the gospel to every aspect of their lives and make disciples who make disciples. These eight weeks immerse students in the local church and global cities and teach them how to practically love God, love each other, and love our world. Students travel to one of our domestic church plants for one week to serve the church and the city and get a glimpse of what it looks like to plant a domestic church. The middle of the summer includes several weeks in Wake Forest, North Carolina, receiving practical theological and ministry training by pastors and teachers at the Summit. During this time, students will learn to effectively share the gospel and give their lives away in RDU in response to the gospel. During the last two weeks of the summer, students will travel abroad to serve alongside Summit church planters. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the mission of God, develop a heart for the nations, and better understand what it means to leverage your life for the gospel of Jesus Christ. City Project is open to college students only.

Second City is a two-month, intensive, international discipleship and missional program. Students spend a brief time training at the Summit and are then sent to Miami, Europe, South Asia, or Southeast Asia for eight weeks to work alongside Summit church planters and partners. Each team is made up of four to eight students and led by Summit College staff members. This is a great opportunity for any upperclassman to grow deeper in their understanding of the global mission of God and truly put their faith into practice!

Join us as we support our long-term field partners through encouragement and community-based service projects. Where we’re going is incredibly beautiful, but remains hostile to the gospel. Our prayer is that we would be able to open strategic doors for our Summit family’s business and for the gospel to go forward! This will be a time for intercessional prayer & worker encouragement; a time for us to grow in discipleship, listen to God and each other.

Come join our team as we partner with a small church in a mountain village to reach their community with the Gospel. We will also be leading discipleship opportunities for kids and adults. Ministry includes leading Bible studies, kid’s ministry, teaching health lessons, teaching English, door to door evangelism, door to door prayer ministry, food distribution and using the gifts/talents of the team. Each day will include worship and Bible study times for our team.

Come visit Southeast Asia to serve and work alongside Summit’s field partners in ministering to residents and tourists in a city with the potential to influence the world with the gospel. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to engage those from every major world religion from some of the least reached parts of the world.

San Pedro Sula is one of the largest cities in Honduras but is filled with some of the least resourced communities in the world. Join us as we work alongside Sparrow Missions for a week of ministry. We will assist their ongoing ministry in senior centers, a community for displaced people, a local school, and two church plants. We are excited to have your family join in all that the Lord is doing in Honduras.

This gateway trip will give you the opportunity to reach out to and serve a variety of different people groups in this global city in Spain. This trip will be in a "mission lab" format, where you will receive daily training from local church planters on how to share the gospel cross-culturally, and then put your training to work in going out into the city each day. Expect to come back home equipped to live missionally in your everyday life.

Join us for an overseas childcare opportunity with kids ages 6-10. The trip includes two travel days, one day for team outings, and five days of engaging, active childcare similar to VBS. We are expecting over 100 children in this age range and are hoping to bring over 30 volunteers. We need you!! Children 16 years and older are welcome to come if accompanied by a parent. Unfortunately, younger children are not able to come due to the high volume of kids who will already be in attendance.

This trip will give you the opportunity to be a part of a one week VBS working alongside one of our Summit missionaries as well as local school staff to teach local students ages of 3 to 4th grade during their summer program. The preschool and elementary school will also be hosting an Around the World themed summer.
