Mephibosheth Training Center (MTC) is a school in Ghana aimed at training children with physical and intellectual disabilities to be productive members of society. The school focuses on providing therapy to the children at the school and the greater community. If you have experience with or are an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Therapist, or have a heart to serve children with physical or intellectual disabilities, please consider applying for this trip.

This trip will be visiting Summit missionaries who have started a business in Southeast Asia to share the gospel with Muslims and Hindus in their local community. The team will spend time prayer walking, meeting local believers, and sharing the gospel with the community.

Our mission at The Summit Church is "Following the Holy Spirit, we exist to create a movement of disciple-making disciples in RDU and around the world." Because Jesus came for us, we go for the sake of others! In Italy, we want to help our partners by (1) expanding the reach of their ministry by providing an increased presence in their ministry efforts, (2) encouraging their local church partners, and (3) raising up new prayer advocates who will intercede on behalf of the lostness in the city. We will also prioritize care for our field partner by being present through prayer, conversation, encouragement, and fellowship. We will also engage with college students through evangelism, interacting with local youth and their parents, participating in and helping facilitate Bible studies and English classes, as well as serving in a variety of other ways (ex: cleaning) to care for our partners all to God's glory! **This trip will require large amounts of walking every day (20,000+ steps/day), including hills and stairs.**

This team will be going to encourage our long term field partners in South Asia. We will come alongside them as they minister to local believers in an English speaking fellowship, following I Thessalonians 5:14 “warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, and be patient with everyone.” Specifically, we will be prayer walking, doing street evangelism, and encouraging the local believers and field partners. There also may be opportunities for some community ministry work. ***Please be aware that where we are going is extremely hot, we will be doing a lot of walking, and we will need to be flexible as plans often change.

The purpose of this trip is to assist the field team with increasing proclamation and increasing prayer in neighborhoods throughout their city. Within the city of 3 million people, almost all have never heard the Good News and have no idea who Jesus truly is. The team will go out into English speaking areas of the city and engage in prayer walking, gospel conversations, and make connections to help the local team map out different parts of the city that will be used to increase prayer.

This team will be partnering with a local church to help them reach their community and implement their new discipleship strategy. We will explore the city as we prayer walk, and will use team members' specific gifts to help strengthen and encourage the local body of believers. *Dates are just an estimate at this time. This trip will involve activities at a local high school and in the community. Most of the work will be sports oriented, but the emphasis will be on engaging with people to share the gospel. We will be traveling to the Czech Republic to visit one of our Summit missionaries to partner alongside them in their middle school & high school student ministry to Czechs. We will prioritize care to our field partner by being present through prayer, conversation, encouragement, and fellowship. We'll also have the opportunity to engage with the local Czech ministry team as well as host an English class to support youth events with our field partner.

Join us as we support our long-term field partners through encouragement and community-based service projects. Where we’re going is incredibly beautiful, but remains hostile to the gospel. Our prayer is that we would be able to open strategic doors for our Summit family’s business and for the gospel to go forward! This will be a time for intercessional prayer & worker encouragement; a time for us to grow in discipleship, listen to God and each other.

Come visit Southeast Asia to serve and work alongside Summit’s field partners in ministering to residents and tourists in a city with the potential to influence the world with the gospel. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to engage those from every major world religion from some of the least reached parts of the world.

San Pedro Sula is one of the largest cities in Honduras but is filled with some of the least resourced communities in the world. Join us as we work alongside Sparrow Missions for a week of ministry. We will assist their ongoing ministry in senior centers, a community for displaced people, a local school, and two church plants. We are excited to have your family join in all that the Lord is doing in Honduras.

Join us for an overseas childcare opportunity with kids ages 6-10. The trip includes two travel days, one day for team outings, and five days of engaging, active childcare similar to VBS. We are expecting over 100 children in this age range and are hoping to bring over 30 volunteers. We need you!! Children 16 years and older are welcome to come if accompanied by a parent. Unfortunately, younger children are not able to come due to the high volume of kids who will already be in attendance.
