City Project is a two-month, intensive discipleship and missional experience where college students serve locally, nationally, and internationally. City Project includes five weeks in Wake Forest, one week with one of our American church plants, and two weeks overseas. Students learn how to apply the gospel to every aspect of their lives and make disciples who make disciples. These eight weeks immerse students in the local church and global cities and teach them how to practically love God, love each other, and love our world. Students travel to one of our domestic church plants for one week to serve the church and the city and get a glimpse of what it looks like to plant a domestic church. The middle of the summer includes several weeks in Wake Forest, North Carolina, receiving practical theological and ministry training by pastors and teachers at the Summit. During this time, students will learn to effectively share the gospel and give their lives away in RDU in response to the gospel. During the last two weeks of the summer, students will travel abroad to serve alongside Summit church planters. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the mission of God, develop a heart for the nations, and better understand what it means to leverage your life for the gospel of Jesus Christ. City Project is open to college students only.

Second City is a two-month, intensive, international discipleship and missional program. Students spend a brief time training at the Summit and are then sent overseas for eight weeks to work alongside Summit church planters and partners. Each team is made up of four to eight students and led by Summit College staff members. This is a great opportunity for any upperclassman to grow deeper in their understanding of the global mission of God and truly put their faith into practice! **Please note that final cost is subject to change.

Join us as we support our long-term field partners through encouragement and assisting with the construction of a church building. Where we’re going is incredibly beautiful, but remains hostile to the gospel. Our prayer is that we would be able to open strategic doors for our Summit family’s business and for the gospel to go forward! This will be a time for intercessional prayer & worker encouragement, a time for us to grow in discipleship, and an opportunity to serve the local church by helping to build a new facility. Construction experience is helpful, but not needed.

We are going to a mega city that serves as the cultural, financial, and economic center of the country. We will be spending time in the city and working with one of our Summit families who are currently living and serving there. We will get to know them, pray with them, and encourage them as they serve amongst refugee populations. We will have opportunities to engage with different ministries and help run a VBS for refugee children in the city.

This trip is only open to high school students & their parents.

Join us as we work alongside Sparrow Missions for a week of ministry in one of the largest cities in Honduras that is filled with some of the least resourced communities in the world. We will assist their ongoing ministry in senior centers, a community for displaced people, a local school, and two church plants. We are excited to have your family join in all that the Lord is doing in Honduras.

Come visit Southeast Asia to serve and work alongside one of Summit’s field partners in ministering to refugee women who have relocated to a new culture. You will have the opportunity to visit an ethnic and religiously diverse city and share the gospel with women from some of the least reached parts of the world. **This trip is open to adult women only.

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Cities in South Asia are bustling with people from every tribe, nation, people, and tongue who have yet to hear the good news! Join the work of planting and sowing seeds among the abundant population of university students and young professionals in a South Asian city of nearly 8 million people.
