Responding to The Whole Story

Apr 29, 2016

As we read together through the whole story of scripture, one way we can respond to what God is teaching us is to let that truth drive our prayer. During the month of May, we want to give you multiple opportunities to cultivate your prayer life. We’ve chosen a verse for each day of the month that will help you pray out of what we have covered so far in our reading plan. A more detailed prayer guide and other prayer resources are available at summitprayer.com.

Prayer is a primary way that we experience and express intimacy with God, and nothing else has the ability to instruct us in prayer like the Bible. This is where we learn what we should be asking for and how we should be interceding. This months daily prayer guide and the op- portunities listed below will help you grow in this kind of praying.

Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13). Let’s seek his face together so that as children of God, we become people of prayer.
