Jesus declares himself to be God (“I Am”) and to be the very source of life. Jesus is the true vine. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the fountain of living water. He is the bread of life. He is the great “I Am.” All that we need is found in Jesus. John 1:14 says, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (NIV). 

Prayers for Today:

• Praise God today that he has revealed himself to us in Jesus and made you a worshiper of him.
  

• As you pray, call out the wonder of who Jesus is and how he came so you could know him.
  

• Ask him to help you see areas of your life where you have failed to believe that he is enough.
  

• Ask God to reveal more of himself to you and show you how you can help others know him better and rely wholly on him.
